Vendor Disputes

We just moved the other month and had a parade of cable repair people out to our house over a 3 week span. We then had our first cable come in and it was 5 times the normal amount. Our service at PPS has a vendor dispute application embedded in the software and service model so it was easy to resolve, but it is nice to know that I am not the only one baffled at how these companies make any money when they have to send an endless stream of technicians out just so I can have a $50 per month TV package. What other industries drive you nuts like this?
